Starch & Potassium Iodide paper gives a qualitative indication of the presence of oxidising agents in water. Examples of oxidising agents can be nitrite, free chlorine, iodine or peroxide. When negative for these agents, the paper is colourless, whereas when positive it will turn a dark blue/black colour. Each book contains 20 strips.
